Background

Info

  • Born and reared in Virginia in a family where everyone was an artist in their own right. I watched my Grandmothers quilt, sew, and do all manner of handwork. I made my first quilt at age nine. I don’t have it any longer, and I suppose it wasn’t perfect, but I never heard a word of complaint from my doll Sally Mae. I speak English and Southern and Quilting. Anyone that has ever visited the south or a quilt show knows what I mean.
